FLickr Case Study

Another model might be to have Connie get her own Flickr, then add her Flickr to a PNW Research Station “Group” which you would be the administrator of.

This would prevent the Research Station Flickr from being flooded with Yellow Cedar Albums.

For an idea of that, check out USFS Region 5 Flickr (2,893 Photos):

https://www.flickr.com/photos/usfsregion5/

Then check out USFS Region 5 State and Private Forestry Flickr (13,204 Photos):

Here are USFSregion5 Groups:

So, a bit different approach from what I suggested yesterday.

Lab Web Page Project

Hi Rhonda,

Do you happen to have photos for march 2016 Science Finding?

http://www.fs.fed.us/pnw/sciencef/scifi183.pdf

The reason I ask is there is a photo of moving plants on a cart from OFSL lab greenhouse to lath house that I’m interested in using for the lab web page project.

Thanks,

Tanner

Hi Tiffany,

Revised Program Areas Headings and Order

Using notes I took from our discussion with Cindy last week, I have revised the program area headings and order.

I have not talked with Paul yet to get the new text on “our value.”

Should we run this revised document by Cindy before you put work into revising the Drupal template?

About Tanner Jessel

I am a recent M.S. in Information Science graduate from the University of Tennessee School of Information Science. I was formerly a graduate research assistant funded by DataONE (Data Observation Network for Earth). Prior, I worked for four years as a content lead and biodiversity scientist with the U.S. Geological Survey's Biodiversity Informatics Program. Building on my work experience in biodiversity and environmental informatics, my work with DataONE focused on exploring the nature of scientific collaborations necessary for scientific inquiry. I also conducted research concerning user experience and usability, and assisted in development of member nodes with an emphasis on spatial data and infrastructure. I assisted with research designed to understand sociocultural issues within collaborative research communities. Through August 1, 2014, I was based at the Center for Information and Communication Studies at the University of Tennessee School of Information Science in Knoxville, Tennessee.
