About

My passion for natural resource conservation drives my love of using information technology (hardware, software, data standards, databases) to explore complex biodiversity and environmental information challenges.

This passion led me from a Bachelor’s in Ecology to pursue a Master of Science in Information Sciences with Interdisciplinary Graduate Minor in Computational Science.

This site, TannerJessel.info, represents a collection of current and past reflections and artifacts from my professional, scholarly, and civic life and livelihood – along with glimpses of my personal life including hobbies and interests.
